25th anniversary of BEDNAR FMT

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of BEDNAR FMT. "In the beginning, there was only an idea when we founded a company to export agricultural machinery abroad with our partners," says the company's owner, Ladislav Bednar.

 

The company was founded in 1997 and initially acted as an "intermediary" between the producer and the farmer. It was a small business with only 20 employees, eventually becoming a large company with 450 employees. It exports its products to more than 40 countries worldwide and recognizes as a well-known manufacturer of agricultural machinery for soil cultivation, sowing, inter-row cultivation, and crop residue management.

 

"The first years were difficult. We did not have our production facilities. The equipment was assembled slowly. The success of our company is based on many things, but the main was the decision to invest in our own production facilities. Thanks to finding free-market segments and manufacturing aggregates that meet the fundamental requirements of farmers, we have become a well-known player in a tough competitive environment. The whole growth process is a clear vision, endurance, and a constant search for a compromise. I am truly proud of what BEDNAR means to many of our customers and partners. I look to the future with determination and believe that the ideas of my sons and colleagues in their heads will be implemented today in the same way as twenty-five years ago when we were at the very beginning," - shares Mr. Ladislav Bednar.
