CASE IH Company gained two titles of “Machine of the Year” simultaneously

Winners at SIMA exhibition in Paris within the categories of “Medium-sized tractors” and “XL tractors” became products belonging to Versum CVXDrive absolutely new line equipped with Stage V engine and Quadtrac CVXDrive.

Appropriate awards were handed as sign of recognition of the advantages of the unique continuously variable transmission of CASE IH as well as efficiency of fuel consumption and operational advantages presented at the market within the caterpillar tractors segment.

We’ll remind that CVXDrive transmission for CVXDrive ensures continuous traffic with up to 40 km/h speed at lowered rpm of the engine. Double clutch technology allows smooth gear change without any power loss throughout entire velocity range.

Actibe brake function allows tractor stopping at hills and crossroads without the use of any foot brakes.

Versum CVXDrive have also function of automatic productivity monitoring (APM) which optimizes engine and transmission settings for the productivity or travel speed adjusted by the operator.

CVX transmission in Quadtrac 470, 500 and 540 CVX models raises convenience in use, especially for operators having no vast experience, lowers operator’s fatigue and provides full power at low speeds. CASE IH remains the only manufacturer to propose a variator for caterpillar equipped with articulated frame.
