The KUHN ESPRO 12000 RC seed drill is designed for minimum tillage technology Min-Till with simultaneous fertilizer application between rows or rows. Compared to other units of this type on the Ukrainian market, this machine stands out due to several structural and technological differences.
 
Triple disc concept:
  • Agronomic concept: furrow opening and cleaning.
  • Opening discs with a diameter of 430 mm.
  • Double seeding discs with a diameter of 350 mm, offset by 41 mm, are designed precisely. The cutting edge not only penetrates the soil well but also cuts through crop residues better, resulting in a clean V-shaped furrow.
  • High-speed seeding with CROSSFLEX colters: two rows of opening discs open the row and ensure proper incorporation of crop residues. Colters are mounted using polyurethane blocks on a shaped tube: with constant pressure and seeding accuracy.
 
Easy and fast hopper loading:
  • Easy loading and emptying.
  • Loading in 15-20 minutes.
 
Seed material control stages:
  • Control sensor for the maximum position of the seeding material.
  • Video surveillance cameras in each hopper - visual prevention of material spillage during loading.
 
Seed bar: surface copying with reliable control.
 
The original pressure control system in each cylinder ensures a constant pressure level thanks to the tractor's compensating system; oil either returns to the reservoir when the implement is raised or is supplied to the system when the implement is lowered.
 
Perfect finishing:
  • Closing harrow teeth are mounted on holders made of spring steel.
  • Easy adjustment with a disc regulator chooses between four spring positions, meaning 4 levels of harrow aggressiveness.

For our agricultural and climatic conditions, the KUHN ESPRO RT 12000 RC seed drill was specially developed for Ukraine. Significantly, the first model was also tested in Ukraine, in the Mykolaiv region. And now, having met the expectations of developers and farmers, it has gone into serial production.
The design of this unit has borrowed constructive solutions that have long proven themselves in the agricultural machinery market in Ukraine. Additionally, the seed drill has received a number of innovative technological solutions, which qualitatively distinguish it from competitors.
