KUHN Metris 2 AUTOSPRAY: an investment in the future

Accuracy is the basis of economy and the guarantee of a better result. The peculiarity is the use of PWM pulse modulation, which allows the formation of high-quality droplets in a wide range of speeds - from 4 to 16 km/h and on U-turns. Field tests in the USA showed an increase in both treatment efficiency and sprayer productivity, which allowed to treat 185 hectares per shift. Ukrainian farmers tested this on their own fields.

"The supplier of plant protection products, Syngenta, offered us to test the sprayer on its fields in the Lviv region - says Andriy Turchyk, agronomist of Trans Invest Agro LLC. - The sprayer was provided by Taiten Machinery Ukraine. We use Cropio to monitor crops. Based on the data, an application map was created and loaded into the KUHN Metris 2 AUTOSPRAY with Lechler nozzles. We needed to desiccate the soybeans in order to harvest them in the time frame we needed. We were completely satisfied with the results of the work, the pouring was done according to the specified norms, the work performance is extraordinary compared to other trailed sprayers. This is a really high precision input. If possible, it would be very good to have such a car in the household!»

During spraying, the farm operator noted the stability and controllability of the trailed sprayer. Such properties were achieved thanks to four levels of suspension and cornering compensation. Thanks to intelligent nozzle holders that control their opening times and the new application for Kuhn Isobus sprayers, the operator could easily adjust the drop size during operation, but he didn't have to because the machine worked cleanly, according to the specification card.

The new Kuhn Autospray precision spray system provides continuous electrical circulation that includes gradual shut-off of the nozzles via GPS. AUTOSPRAY is available on Altis 2, Lexis, Metris 2 and Oceanis sprayers. The main advantage of the AUTOSPRAY system is the control and regulation of the droplet size during spraying, regardless of the conditions. Each nozzle has a different drop size that meets ISO standards.
