MATADOR MO sowing machine™

The MATADOR MO seed drill is designed for the strip-till seeding technology. The strip-till cultivation technology with concurrent seeding brings a brand-new view of crop organisation in the fields. The layout of the cultivating tines is based on the new agronomic and legislative trends in withdrawal of herbicides at the expense of mechanical crop treatment.

STRIP SOIL PREPARATION AND SOWING IN ONE PASS

The MATADOR MO is the ideal combination seed drill for deep soil preparation and sowing in one pass. The advantage of this technical solution is that before direct sowing, the soil is loosened in the strips of future plants and fertilizer is applied locally to the depth of the root system. Strip-Till technology provides such agronomic benefits as moisture conservation, erosion protection, better heating and aeration of the soil in the strips, fewer passes across the field, and more efficient use of fertilizers.

ACTIVE-MIX TINES

MATADOR MO is equipped with Active-Mix tines for active loosening to a maximum depth of 35 cm with the option of applying fertilizer into the soil profile or on the soil surface. The working tines are equipped with a reliable hydraulic protection AUTO-RESET with a maximum release force of 870 kg (maximum lifting height 30 cm). The stands can be equipped with 40 or 80 mm chisels in the LONG LIFE version.

DISC LEVELING SECTION AFTER THE CHISELS

The disc section is located behind the chisel section and is hydraulically adjustable. The disk section is used to level the soil horizon before the passage of the tire roller (suitable for sowing most types of cereals) or vice versa to create ridges (this may be required for sowing rape).

OVERPRESSURE HOPPER

The MATADOR MO seed drill is equipped with a two-chamber hopper with a total volume of 5000 liters (40:60 ratio). Thanks to the hermetically sealed hopper, an overpressure is created in the hopper. This technical design allows you to dose large amounts of material with high accuracy, regardless of the size of the seed/fertilizer.

TWO ROW SPACING OPTIONS

The MATADOR MO can optionally be equipped with the CORSA CN mounted seed drill with 12.5 cm row spacing for most crops and working conditions. The 16.7 cm row spacing is suitable for working in conditions of high rainfall or with more crop residues on the field surface.
