The first unit of the BEDNAR brand was the SWIFTER compactor - says the company's director Mykhailo Podolskyi - we worked for three seasons and made sure it was the right choice! No problems or breakdowns. But time demanded even more effective solutions. We always approach the choice thoroughly - we consider and test different domestic and foreign manufacturers. We grow cereals, oilseeds, and legumes, and, taking into account the characteristics of our soils, we are looking for a solution that will be efficient and financially optimal. For us, the key factors are always fuel consumption, speed, and processing quality. At the same time, the main goal is high-quality shredding of residues. Titan Machinery Ukraine, where we bought Case IH tractors, helped us to choose. There is a professional team in this company that offers excellent service. We discussed the options and settled on the BEDNAR SWIFTERDISC XO 6000F, a versatile disc peeler. Aggressive disks of increased diameter were chosen as options, which allow working to a depth of up to 15 cm. The unit was delivered to us a month earlier than the agreed deadline. Today we are already working, preparing the field for winter wheat after harvesting rapeseed. Once again, we were convinced of the quality of BEDNAR equipment - the unit can withstand the declared speed, our fuel consumption is nine l/ha, and we are delighted with the quality of grinding the residues.

Before that, various analogs worked but did not perform as well as SWIFTERDISC in fuel consumption and processing speed. It is easy to prepare for processing and quickly adjusted, and the unit does not have extra grease nipples. We are happy!

The operator noted another convenient feature of the discator - its stability and easy operation at high speed, even on slopes. This result is achieved thanks to the rear rollers arranged in a checkerboard pattern. They also level the soil surface well, essential during pre-sowing preparation. The drawbar with a hydraulic cylinder also plays its role, improving the terrain's copying and reducing the mechanical shock loads on the tractor suspension. The integrated transport axle and robust frame design optimally distribute the unit's weight, stabilize it and allow it to work at high speed. In the Twin-Disc system, two discs are mounted on one work stand, which promotes uniform processing over the entire width of the grip and ensures good passability of plant residues.

Today, the company is considering replenishing the line with BEDNAR equipment on its farm because this year they sowed 10% more, so to get good results, it is necessary to improve. They purchased one more BEDNAR machinery - ACTROS 4000 RO disk-claw from Titan Machinery Ukraine. This unit performs several operations in one pass. The two front rows of discs ensure excellent cutting and thorough mixing of crop residues with the soil, and the two rows of racks intensively loosen the soil to a depth of 35 cm.
